Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The Lavinty Tech website (lavintytech.com) is operated by Lavinty for Digital Services (Arabic: لافينتي للخدمات الالكترونية), 68 Toman Bay Street, El-Bakry, Heliopolis, Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, contact us at info@lavintytech.com or on +20 109 804 6688.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse this website, send us a message through a contact form, use the Lavinty Tech website assistant (the chat widget), or contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

3. Information we collect

  • Contact forms. The name, email address and message that you type. The form sends them to our team by email. The website does not keep a copy of form submissions in its own database.
  • Website assistant. The assistant is an automated tool that answers from information published on this website. It follows fixed rules and does not use an external artificial-intelligence service. What you type is processed by our own web server only to choose a reply, and complete conversations are not stored. If you ask for a proposal or a callback, the assistant asks for your name, organisation, telephone number or email address, sector, project type and requirements, and optionally your timeline and budget, and it shows you a summary first. Only if you explicitly agree are these details saved in our lead-management system (stored in the website’s database) and emailed to our team, together with the language of the conversation, the page you were on, the type of request, the date and version of your consent and the status of our follow-up. If you do not agree, nothing is saved or emailed. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat.
  • Email, telephone and WhatsApp. If you contact us by these channels, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, number, email address and message.
  • Technical information. When you visit, the web server and our security tools process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. To limit abuse we keep short-lived counters that use a scrambled (hashed) form of the network address instead of the address itself. The hosting provider’s servers also keep standard server logs.

4. Why we use your information

  • to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal or callback that you asked for;
  • to keep a record of our communication with you;
  • to operate and secure the website and to prevent spam and abuse;
  • to meet legal obligations that apply to us.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The website sets one functional cookie, wp-wpml_current_language, which remembers whether you are viewing the English or the Arabic version. It expires after one day and holds no personal data. The website assistant keeps a temporary chat session token in the session storage of your browser; it is removed when you close the tab, and no cookie is used for it. We checked on 16 October 2026 that the website loads all of its resources from its own domain and uses no analytics, advertising, social-media or other third-party scripts or cookies. If we add any of these, we will update this policy before they are used. Administrators who log in to manage the website receive WordPress login cookies; ordinary visitors do not.

6. Who handles your information

  • Hosting and email provider. The website, its database and our business email are hosted by a web-hosting provider on a shared server. The provider processes your information on our behalf only to host the website, store the data and deliver email.
  • WhatsApp. If you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp link, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy notice.
  • Links to other sites. If this website links to external sites, including our profiles on social-media platforms, those sites handle your data under their own policies once you follow the link.
  • No other services. The website is configured to send visitor information only to the services described in this section. The assistant never sends your details to an artificial-intelligence service. We publish no personal data from enquiries.

7. International processing

Our hosting provider’s servers, which hold the website, its database and our email, are located in London, United Kingdom. Information you submit through this website is therefore transferred to and stored on servers outside Egypt, and outside your own country if you are elsewhere. We apply the security measures described in section 9 to it.

8. How long we keep information

  • Contact-form and other emails: kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a reasonable record of the enquiry or of our business relationship, and then deleted or archived. We have not set a fixed period.
  • Leads from the website assistant: deleted automatically after 90 days without activity (no new status, note or contact). We keep a lead longer only if we are in an ongoing business relationship with you, for example an active proposal or contract, and only for as long as that relationship and our legal obligations require.
  • Chat session data and abuse counters: the session token is removed when you close the tab; the counters expire automatically after a short time.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider under its own retention practices.

9. How we protect information

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the website’s administration area and to the lead-management system is limited to authorised staff with password-protected accounts. The contact forms and the assistant have spam and rate-limit protection, and the assistant stores only the details you agreed to share. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

You may ask us whether we hold personal data about you, and to give you access to it, correct it, delete it or stop using it. You may withdraw the consent you gave to the assistant at any time. Write to info@lavintytech.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will reply within a reasonable time and in line with the law that applies. You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection authority.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do. If we add services that process visitor information in a new way, we will update this policy before they are used.
